This research proposes the use of SNNs integrated with X-ray scans to enhance Anomaly Detection. The study demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach. Achieving an improvement in the performance by incorporating attention mechanisms getting until an 85% F1-Score. The use of Synthetic data generated through the cut-paste method combined with attention mechanisms achieves in some cases a performance even better than models trained with real data.
